Long Beach, California, November 11, 2010 – An Exclusive Maintenance Program for newly-purchased TBM 850s is being unveiled at the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s Aviation Summit, being held November 11-13 in Long Beach, California.
This Exclusive Maintenance Program includes five years (including five free annual inspections) or 1,000 flight hours with free scheduled maintenance costs. In addition, warranties are extended to the following: five years for avionics, five years for systems and seven years for the airframe.
The offer is valid for the purchase of new TBM 850s through December 31, which are eligible for bonus depreciation.
During today’s challenging economic times, DAHER-SOCATA believes it is our role to assist potential customers in new purchases, especially for those who operate aircraft for their business or trade,” said Nicolas Chabbert, the President of SOCATA North America. “By offering this powerful warranty and exclusive maintenance package, we expect to help new customers streamline their transition to turbine aircraft ownership."
The TBM 850 is world’s fastest single turboprop aircraft, with a maximum cruising speed of 320 KTAS at Flight Level 260 (in ISA conditions). It combines cruising speed and trip times of a light jet with the economic direct operating costs, range and moderate environmental signature of a turboprop engine. The TBM 850’s maximum range and useful load, along with its ability to land at small airports, are some of the aircraft’s favorite features for customers.
